Music for me does many different things. I go to it no matter what mood I am in. It could be happy, sad, nervous, excited, ect. I listen to music all throughout my day, especially since I have started school here. I could be in my dorm, walking to class, or just doing something with my friends. But the biggest thing for me is that it is a huge stress reliever. While in high school I played both volleyball and softball, so in order to get rid of my stress and get into my game mode I would put music on to pump me up and get me into a better mood. Music can instantly put me in a good mood, listening to my favorite songs makes me feel like I am in the best place.
This summer I was able to see all of my favorite artists live. I attended Russ,Migos, Post Malone, Chris Brown and more. Going to concerts and being with my friends and so many other people to have a good time is one of the best things about concerts to me personally. Of course I love listening to them off my speaker or in the car but seeing them in person is a completely different experience. Everyone is there to enjoy the musician and just have fun. Nobody goes to a concert to have a bad time, you can meet so many people that have the same interests as you that you would have never known unless it was for that artist.
Finally, music is something that will always be there, it never goes away. People come and go and can't always be there for you but with music you can listen to it anywhere, anytime. There is a song for anything you are going through. There are two different types of people that listen to music in my opinion. The first listens just for the beat and just likes the background noise. The second listens to songs for a purpose, they relate to the lyrics on a different level. They take their time to listen to it and get to experience it in a whole different way.
I like how you talked about how music will never go away it will always be their. I agree that you can totally listen to music anywhere and anytime. I agree that listening to songs has a purpose and i can relate that music has helped me especially when I'm on airplanes. I really like your post, nice job!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with everything you said! I played volleyball in high school too and my team would always warm up and walk out to a song that would pump us up! Love concerts too! Love this post!!
ReplyDeleteI am the same way, I have to listen to music all day long! In high school I also used to listen to music to get in game mode before my football and basketball games. It truly helped! If I did not, I would most likely have a bad game.
